This is a 10-week Italian language class building on the previous series

Welcome to our continuing series for those who want to learn Italian and have studied it from the beginning.  This Elementary III series is the extension of the previous series meant for those who have an introductory knowledge of Italian.  We will study more grammar that will help us speak more fluently in the Italian language.  Each class is split between speaking in Italian in the group and a grammar lesson.  Each series always begins with a good review of the previous lesson topics.

If want to jump in mid-stream, it is not a problem.  You will just want to have some experience with the language.

The weekly classes are online via Zoom.  Your instructor, Marco Pelle, a native Italian, will be zooming in from various locations between Milano, Vicenza and New York.  This course will continue from where the previous series of 10 classes left off.  If you are completely new to Italian, however, Marco can give you an online review to make sure you catch up to the current class.

Each session will include instruction in basic Italian, conversation and a little bit of culture.  Topics covered will be:

  • basic grammar
  • building vocabulary
  • pronunciation guide
  • verb tense conjugations
  • reading of simple dialogues
  • listening and basic writing skills

If you have to miss a class, no problem – each session will be recorded and sent to you after the class, so you can review the lessons at your own pace or catch up.

Class enrollment will be limited to facilitate conversation and interaction among the students.

This series, and all of Marco’s Italian classes, is 10 weeks to give students a good foundation before you proceed to the next level.
